Moses Okello is a strategic leader in women’s economic empowerment, with over seven years of dedicated experience as a practitioner. Currently serving as the Women’s Economic Empowerment Lead at the Centre for Rights Education and Awareness, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Nairobi.
He has been instrumental in developing and implementing integrated approaches to empower women entrepreneurs in Kenya. His expertise lies in strengthening economic pathways for economic recovery and resilience among women, and young people, thereby amplifying their voices and restoring their agency in the socio-economic and political spheres.
Moses co-chairs both the Nairobi County Socio-economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion Sector Working Group and the Women’s Economic Empowerment-Community of Practice’s Financial Inclusion and Sustainable Entrepreneurship thematic area. His leadership and dedication has significantly contributed to advancing the cause of women’s economic empowerment, making him a respected professional in the sector.
